A Short Routine for Practicing Multiplication Facts
Choose one times table, work through a few facts, and check the ones that caused trouble. Add other tables when you are ready to review them together.

Practice the 4 times table
Try a few facts from the 4 times table. If 4 × 7 is difficult, work it out as 2 × 7 + 2 × 7. After checking the answers, return to the facts that needed the most thought.
Choose the fact range
Set both factors to the range you want to practice. A times table contains the products for one multiplier; a fact family is the related multiplication and division set.
Add timing only when it helps
Accuracy and a reliable strategy come first. Use the optional time target after the facts are steady, then mix in other tables for review.
